Get Tokens for Generation

How to buy tokens for generating snippets.

In order to generate snippets with Parrot, generation tokens are required. There are two ways to get generation tokens:

• A monthly subscription.
• Pay-as-you-go tokens.

To get tokens via either option, visit the tokens page after you’ve logged in to Parrot and click on the “Subscription” or “Pay As You Go” tab to reveal purchase options.

Monthly Subscription

If you intend to use Parrot to generate snippets often (or with a team), a subscription is the most economical way to get generation tokens. When you start a subscription (and each month after until you cancel), Parrot will automatically “top up” your token balance with the tokens included for that plan.

Pay As You Go

If you intend to use Parrot to generate snippets only once in awhile, pay-as-you-go tokens are the most economical way to get generation tokens. Pay-as-you-go tokens are a one-time payment.
